Welcome to my “about me” page. More formally, this is a summary of my
resume. It is biographical in nature, as I hope to share a bit of myself with all who
view it. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you enjoy viewing
my art on my other pages as well.
My faith, my husband and our seven children are the inspiration for my
illustrations. It is my intention to display "life” through out my art, and to
effectively convey emotion and messages to all who view it. My efforts lay in
creating images that are relative and appropriate for today's consumers and art
lovers. My professional desire is to establish a freelancing business that will not
only benefit my family financially, but will also be a personal achievement of my
life-long goals.
My experience in the arts is not one of numerous employment opportunities but of
community service, within my church and offering art classes to the children in
my neighborhood. I have created a logo for a local shoe store, that was used in
advertisement and business cards, and have an established a solid reputation for
creating interesting designs for a local theater company. Viewing the original art
for these assignments are available upon request.
I seek opportunities to work within the industry of prints, cards and gifts, and
hope to become known as an artist who is dependable and works well with
deadlines. I am having a great time painting and also promoting my business, as I
continue researching the markets where my interest is most directed. When my
efforts pay off, I aspire to have my name known among art directors and
consumers alike.
